Dog Health Policy
A dog participating in classes must be healthy. Any signs of illness should first be consulted with a veterinarian and then discussed with the trainer to determine whether the dog can attend classes.
The dog must be fully vaccinated (except for puppies who have not yet completed their full vaccination course) and have a valid rabies vaccination. The handler should carry proof of vaccination and may be asked by the trainer to present it during training.
The dog must be dewormed and protected against external parasites such as fleas and ticks.
If a female dog is in heat, this must be reported to the trainer at least 24 hours before the scheduled class so that participation or rescheduling options can be discussed. Failure to provide such notice, or doing so less than 24 hours before class, may result in the session being forfeited.
Dogs recovering from recent surgical procedures are not allowed to participate in classes.
If your dog has food allergies, this must be communicated to the trainer no later than before the first class.
Rules for Handling Dogs During Classes
Dogs must remain on a leash during both training sessions and breaks unless otherwise instructed by the trainer. Allowing dogs to interact without the trainer’s permission and supervision is prohibited. The handler is responsible for maintaining a safe distance between dogs.
The trainer is not responsible for any meetings or interactions between dogs that occur before or after class.
The use of aversive tools such as prong collars, choke chains, or electric collars is strictly forbidden. Dogs wearing such equipment will not be allowed to join the class.
Aversive behavior towards a dog — including shouting, hitting, or jerking — is unacceptable and will result in immediate removal from the course without a refund.
Training Session Guidelines
Participants are required to follow all rules and instructions provided by the trainer.
All household members are welcome to attend the session, but only one person should work directly with the dog during class. Other family members may observe from a distance that allows the dog to stay focused. If multiple household members will train with the dog at home, one designated person should communicate key training information to the rest of the family.
Participants may make up one missed class if the absence is reported to the trainer at least 24 hours in advance and if the trainer can accommodate the dog in another ongoing group.
If a participant wishes to record video or audio during class, they must obtain permission from the trainer. Likewise, if the trainer wishes to record, they must ask for participants’ consent.
Each participant is responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
Participants must keep treats in a place inaccessible to dogs — especially plastic bags with treats, which must not be left where dogs can reach them. Treats should be stored in a closed bag or backpack to prevent any dog from eating them (along with the bag).
Participants acknowledge that attending individual or group training sessions does not guarantee the resolution of all behavioral issues. Training will not automatically eliminate problems such as fearfulness, aggression toward people or animals, separation anxiety, or house-training issues.
Payment Policy
Participants agree to pay a deposit of 300 PLN (via Blik to the trainer’s phone number) no later than 2 days after confirming the training schedule (group or individual). The deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total course fee. The remaining balance must be paid via Blik or in cash to the trainer after the first planned class.
Course fees are non-refundable in case of withdrawal from the course once it has started.
